LocalCircles and Rotary Blood Bank roll out Delhi/NCRs first online local community of Blood Donors and Seekers
Over 700 Donors join it Day One and circle helps fill a New Born’s emergency need for B Negative Blood
New Delhi, India, August 8, 2013 – LocalCircles (www.localcircles.com), the world’s first comprehensive local social network that helps improve daily lives of citizens, announced today that it has made a new local circle available in Delhi/NCR on BLOOD in partnership with the Rotary Blood Bank of Delhi.
This circle brings together all the residents of Delhi/NCR committed or interested in donating blood, seeking blood, supporting the cause and saving lives. Members can post the need for blood, organize blood donation camps, donate blood and encourage others for the cause.

"Rotary Blood Bank will also be using LocalCircles to interact with local community, organize Blood Donation Camps and share Thought Leadership on the subject", said Agarwal. "LocalCircles already has private online communities for 125 neighborhoods of Delhi/NCR and another 125 neighborhoods are expected to have LocalCircles deployed within the next few months", said Taparia. "If a Blood Donation camp is being organized in South Delhi, LocalCircles can provide an easy and targeted way for the camp organizers to reach out to the residents of South Delhi neighborhoods", continued Taparia.
