This circle enables consumers to report excess profiteering activities by businesses under the GST regime. So if you observe that incorrect and higher GST rates are being levied to you or GST is being charged above MRP or products are being sold higher than MRP under the name of GST, you must share all such examples with details. Also, if you have full details of how input tax credit by a business is not being passed on to consumers to derive undue profits, you may share such examples. The circle will focus on driving systemic changes and enforcement such that consumer benefits are maximised under the GST regime.
