Beyond the religion: Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all. May the Lord Ganesha bring auspiciousness in our thoughts and bless us all with sound health and prosperity. Neither you nor I saw Ganesha around but very thought of him brings in a piousness and purity in our thought followed by justified action. It is not that idol of Ganesha being worshiped but it is the worship of a power within us which evades and wards off the evils of devils. What all evils are there within us; anger, ego. jealousness and so on and so forth. Lord Ganesha is the power within us to ward off these evils from our feelings and thoughts.
