All mosquitoes breed some where & the best time to see the hidden breeding place is sunset time because at this time onwards ,the mosquitoes start emerging in large number from breeding sites.The larger the number ,larger number of mosquitoes can be seen emerging.Checking different areas in evening by malaria personnel as well as by people can detect such places & monitor the effectivity of anti larval ,fogging measures .Detection of such places can also force/motivate concerned authorities to take permanent re,medial measures & can held the custodian of that place responsible for getting challanned.One can also see larvae in drains,ponds & can take videos /pictures and send it to concerned authorities for necessary action. SDMC can make more people aware of these facts by showing pictures and videos of adult/larvae on television /websites etc.

      Recently i conducted survey for water conservation. I was surprised to see that at many rooftop useless material was kept which leads to mosquito breeding. The useless material includes old tyre, old utensils, debris, wooden almirah etc. It is suggested to take strict action against these people. more
