you learn what you do. If you worry a lot, then day after day you are learning how to worry even better. If you think about doing something a lot, then you are learning how to think about doing. Every moment you are happy, you are learning how to be even happier. Every time you act, you are learning how to take an action even better. What is it that you've been learning today? What is it that you want to learn tomorrow? more

literacy could mean reading and writing Hindi and English and mathematics. Most of the EWS children and elderly have only this requirement. this can be done by retired persons / house wives giving personal attention. if one person teaches one person. this problem can be handled. let teaching become a every home activity and let school be for those who desire to acquire higher education. i am myself teaching daughter of our maid servant. It will be great if CBSE can conduct tests of 3 levels. any one should be able to take the test and on passing be given a certificate. this will be like passing BA, CA privately. this was the model in computer education also - A level, O level. need for establishing schools and providing facilities will get reduced. more

EWS children are really handicapped not only because of lack of attention by school teachers but also absence of support from illiterate parents. Further due to lack of space in their homes, these children require space for their studies in the evenings. It would be good if NGOs could extend coaching facilities to such children after school hours. The government may allow its schools to be used by NGOs for such purpose. more
