I intended to complain against suspected corrupt practices prevailing in post offices to CVO and hence tried to find out an email id of CVO, Department of Posts and contacted one Mr. Sanjay Mehta, Under Secretary (as identified by him) on T.No. 011-23096091, 23096099. It surprised me when he refused to provide the email id and said I can complain to anyone in the Government. Our present government talks about transparency but when someone want to find out email id, he is refused. The system requires to be sensitized else keep on struggling with corruption and all said better than done. more

IT IS A FACT THAT THE CORRUPTION IS NOW IN ALMOST ALL THE DEPARTMENTS.BUT I BLAME OUR OWN ARVIND KEJRIWAL FOR THIS. OUR PARTY HAD GREAT OPPORTUNITY To RECTIFY THE CORRUPTION THROUGH GOOD GOVERNANCE/CONTROLBY AAP GOVT. BUT HE BLEW AWAY THE OPPORTUNITY. EVEN 49 DAYS OF AAP RULE RESULTED IN REDUCTION IN CORRUPTION.IF KEJRIWAL HAD CONTINUED HE COULD CARRY OUT REFORMS IN MANY FIELDS. GOD KNOWS WHEN AAP WILL GET ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY? TILL THEN PLEASE SUFFER BECAUSE 218 MP'S (98 IN BJP) WHO HAVE BEEN ELECTED DESPITE HAVING CRIMINAL RECORDS, ARE NOT THERE TO DO ANY DESH SEVA/REMOVAL OF CORRUPTION. ? more

I had complained to the Hon Finance Minister that banks like ICICI declare your EMI for home loans, insist on Floating Rates, borrow from RBI at the prevailing Repo Rate of 4-8%, and charge hapless customers 15%. No reply at all! They even advertise Home loans at 10.15%, while collecting 15% from customers. This is a fraud on the common public. The RBI and FM, preaching theory on "containing inflation", keep increasing rates, while at ground level, no fall in inflation is seen. Time to get these armchair finance "experts" get down to ground level and work. Time, also, to get a fix on these predatory bankers more

Generally the CVO nos. are available on Deptt.'s website under mandatory disclosures. But you are right about bureaucratic arrogance. I complained once to GAIL about a corrupt practice at fairly senior level but not an acknowledgement even. more
