How we can expect common man to be law abiding when he is not able to understand laws of the land himself.Even different lawyers give different interpretation.Sometimes small flaw or misinterperation, let the actual criminal escape from punishment. Why we can not have simpler and straight laws and and different forums to decide routine cases pertaining to traffic ,rent etc.reducing burden of our courts. Where other cases can be decided faster. more

Today page 6 TOI. HC summons chief secy, HUDA over ground water misuse. PIL was filed and HC banned commercial use of ground water. Despite this most constructions took place with bore wells. What was administration ( DTP ( enforcement ) doing? cant check contempt also . A citizen has to videograph the misuse and take all the effort to bring these sharks to book, to save the depleting levels for us. Why the guilty are not asked as to how water was arranged for construction and discharge their burden with proofs of payments and other evidence? corruption in administration , non accountability, assured career and promotions, non transparency, need to be shaken with strict and exemplary punishments. The loss caused by them is also irrecoverable and non compensatory, then why spare them? Society suffers for one person's greed, and still he remains boss over us!We need to unite in our social causes and fight this menace to the end. I am personally available to anyone and everyone for any such requirement. more

I agree with Dalel Ahlawat so far as the law obligingly self-destructs. Look at the loan waiver scheme of banks, waiver scheme of property tax, waiver of water and electricity bills, voluntary disclosure scheme of income tax, etc. The law-abiding citizen regrets to have followed his good conscience in having paid the dues. more

what common sense suggest it is wrong law also does the same. no innocent shall be punished that why if some one not proved guilty is left free. it never means accused not punished is innocent more
