Turning Garbage to Gold for The Republic of India The Swacch Bharat call by His Excellency Hon Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji comes at a time when Indian truly needs to emerge as a super power and no country can become a big power without a good internal order. Education and mass awareness campaigns must be pivotal to this change supported by massive fines and law enforcement for establishments,peoples and /or body corporates who may contribute to the pollution of roads,rivers,canals and the environment at large. But I am little doubtful on whether at all these measures may rise above corruption and mis handling in our state of economy.There comes into my mind another powerful solution of turning "Garbage to Gold" by implementing Municipal Corporation wise facilities like Waste-to-energy project and feeding them with a smooth run with an ever increasing and accumulating garbage using Low Combustion Technology (LCT). I am sure the advisors to the PMO can have a serious thought on this, as not only this shall clean up your environment,but also feed in a partial requirement to our city and sub-urbans region's ever increasing power requirements.This technology is cheap and the garbage collection can be trained across municipalities with rewards of special revenue awarded to mucupalities as per their daily collection. Please think about it. more
