To make Bharat 'Swachchh and Swasth' I would like to request the transport ministry to make Swachchh by curbing menace of Noise Pollution which is very much hazardous to health. 1st step in this direction is to ban on Pressure Horns which generate a number of Illness. Thus curbing NOISE Silt is to prevent from number of Illness like deafness, Hypertension, Psychosis, Mental Agony, Mental Retardation, even Fetal abortion and many more. more

Talking about pollution.... well it also related to how much conscious we are .. Narrating a small incident on this, which happened to encounter me just a couple of days ago.. I was washing my face at one the wash basins of my coach while travelling in a train.. A man aged about 32 to 35 with specs, looking well educated and probably good at his English asked me to excuse him so that he could open the door and throw that big plastic garbage bag which is the outcome of his lunch.. I requested him to please throw that in the DUST BIN.. for which I got a shocking response.. "Where to find a DUST BIN now ?" I pointed to his feet.. it was right there. Just where he was standing. But at the end he learnt something.. We.. are so absent minded people that even though we know where to throw the garbage, but we still try to find an open and beautiful place to throw the garbage.. So that the garbage does not feel bad isn't it ? Human can do such crazy things only when they are sleep walking.. And now I believe its time. more
PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY TAKE IT FOR GRANTED THAT USING LOUD SPEAKERS IS THEIR BIRTH RIGHT DISREGARDING THE DAMAGE CAUSED TO OTHERS.IN TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IT IS DAILY AFFAIR.EARLY MORNING SOME PATIENTS OR AGED MAY BE SLEAPING,SOME MAY BE SITTING IN MEDITAION,DOING POOJA,PRAYERS,STUDENTS MAY BE READING OR BUSY PREPARING FOR EXAMS ETC.ON FESTIVAL DAYS,IT IS MORE.IF THERE IS NO POWER SUPPLY,THEY USE GENERATORS.SIMILARLY VEHICLES HORN BEYOND TOLERENCE.PEOPLE ARE SELFISH AND DONOT THINK OF THE INCONVENIENCE TO OTHERS.PEOPLE DO THIS IN THE NAME OF FESTIVALS AND RELIGEOUS PRACTICE.THERE SHOULD BE RESTRICTIONS ON THESE THINGS AND SOUND DECIBLES SHOULD BE RESTRICTED SO THAT IT DOES NOT HARM OTHERS.IF SOME ONE IS FACING HE/SHE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO COMPLAIN TO LOCAL AUTHORITY.THERE SHOULD BE NO QUARRELS ON SUCH ISSUES more
In addition, I find that Party Plots are allowed to flourish within the residential areas. Society does need such facilities to fulfill their social obligations. But in the process of the use of such facilities, music through loud speakers with potent sound systems are played at least till 11 PM which causes disturbance to the reidents in the surrounding areas. I understand there is a ban on using very high frequency sound systems by the Administration and also for this prior permission is required to be obtained for which stipulated timings are to be adhered. However such norms are blatantly flouted and the Administration turns a deaf ears to such matters. Second issue is use of fire crackers. Fire crackers spreading lights do spread pollution but it is tolerable. But what I object to is the use of noise making fire crackers which are bursted in such functions well within mid night. One can not object to the use of Party Plots within the residential area as some time or the other Society requires such facilities. But a stipulation in timings for such facilities (Cracking sound making firecrackers) should strictly be observed and imposed on the user with heavy penalty in case complaint is filed by the residents of the surrounding area. Patients, specially the Sr. Citizines are badly effected by such menace. more
