As I was going through this post, I remembered my mother making "Cheese" from the milk of cow or buffalo which has given birth to a calf three days earlier. With some Gur and pepper powder added to it and heated in a water bath, the "Cheese" gets crystalized and used to be what we call "Super" in taste! Nothing can ever taste like that ! In these days of packed milk, probably we can make this even today if we have some cows or buffaloes around and revisit the old days and tell the present generation what olden and golden days were!! more

Maximum benefits could be derived if home made paneer is used. Processed and packed products should be the last preference in any diet. more
