Ghaziabad Governance involves about 100 persons and out of this lowest level are 80 PARSHADS of NAGAR NIGAM who are directly elected by the citizens of the city. Mayor is directly elected like the MP and he heads this NIGAR NIGAM council. PARSHADS are mainly from BJP/ CONGRESS/ SP/BSP/ FEW INDEPENDENT. Present MAYOR is from BJP with just 20 plus BJP Parshads out of 80. 4 MLAs are from BSP. 1 MP is BJP who had won biggest majority in LS Elections won by NARENDRA MODI PM. No doubts MP is holding 2 MINISTERIAL BERTHS AND EX ARMY CHIEF and GHAZIABAD is lucky to have this rank outsider of GHAZIABAD. Furher DM/SSP/GDA VC/ NAGAR AYUKT /SE ELECTRICITY/ SE JALNIGAM CMO/ ROAD WAYS GM/ EDUCATION OFFICER who run the Administration are directly controlled by State SP Government CM. GHAZIABAD being a most populous city of DELHI NCR is also controlled by the CENTRAL GOVERNMENT who heads NCR BOARD under URBAN DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY and NHAI for main HIGHWAYS matter the most. Just analysis is how difficult it is to imagine how the GOVERNANCE of any major URABAN developing city is possible under this scenario. Is this concept of DELHI NCR is workable ? Further RWAs and PARSHADs relationships are another major factor to join and raise the issues. NBT/OTHER paper many times it looks are more near to citizens to get some relief for them. We should analyse and decide the role of this circle which has over 13000 members who can do wonders with the help of many more circle with smaller groups coming up. i HAVE ALSO MADE ONE CIRCLE WITH THE SAME GOAL with just 24 members and many more are in the pipeline but not convinced so far whether they can play any real roles. more
