To eliminate corruption upto a large extent - the interfacing between the government staff and the public should be eliminated. All requirements of paper work should be done on-line. Until total on-line connectivity is available forms should be available compulsorily at all government offices which should then be submitted by registered post. In Mumbai too, the Municipal authorities as well as the State Government authorities are known for their corrupt ways. There will not be a single building which will not be in violation of rules when completed. The footpaths are covered with shops, drains have shops on them, compounds where setback has been given for roads have shops built on them. Shops have extended beyond their built up areas. Slums have been patronised. 3 to 4 storey slum buildings exist and the construction is so precarious that even a mild earthquake will lead to a large scale loss of lives. Houses in the gaothans have encroached on the inner roads narrowing them down to 1-1.5 feet width. The entire system stinks and the revenue from hawkers, illegally extended structures, builder lobby is in crores. Almost 60% of the government staff and the corporators, MLA's have farm lands, or few houses, investments with the builders or shops in benami names. The connivance of the contractors, the politicians, bureaucrats is total leading to a huge loss in construction quality and siphoning of funds. When the system is so well compromised and favours the rulers why would the vested interested parties want to change? The AAP has its agenda set out for elimination of corruption and we must ask the people to give us a majority mandate in order to set up a system whereby all the loopholes can be eliminated. All should be given licenses if the conditions prescribed are met. more

To eliminate the corrupt governance by managing committee members of co operative socities , we have to put pressure on housing minister and chief registrar of societies, the corruption begins with them , they are only acting on the money they get under table, they dont care for people living in societies who have purchased homes to live with their hardearned money either through loans, or savings, almost 95%societies are corrupt and they are holding to their posts, no elections are being held, so the managing committee is having an escape route to all their misdeeds, they blame the Registrars office. We have go to the people directly which seems the most effective way and help all societies and people, this aopproach will give us access to popularity and good governance, the citizens confidence is most important, then comes utility services which are connected to corruption in all possible manner like - Electricity, illegal water supply mafia, builders mafia, government offices , and infrastructure issues where there is huge corruption. IF PEOPLE ARE WITH US WE CAN FIGHT IT OUT MORE EFFECTIVELY, WE CAN DEMAND OUR RIGHTS. We can have local mohalla or local area meetings directly with the people and ask them to join this fight , this movement, if we have numbers then to boycott and put end to local problems will make faces smile and put fear into the corrupt systems accepted so far. more
