We cannot paint all the magistrates and judges with the same brush. Some are honest; some are not. The system for detecting the bad judges needs to be improved.I have experience with both types- in a criminal case as well as in consumer cases. This has strengthened my belief that chances of getting justice is more in higher courts.Of course, the process of knocking the doors of the higher judiciary for justice is a tortuous one.But there is no other remedy. Our legislators are not smart enough to device inbuilt safety checks to root out corruption in the judiciary. On 22 May 2017 at 07:27, S Narayanan wrote: > more

If law is founded on the basic principle of equity, then it is unfair to make an exception. On 22 May 2017 at 07:21, Anil Kumar Singh wrote: > more

Itâs not fair to write off all advocates and judges as corrupt or unfair. There are good judges and lawyers. There is shortage of judges in all courts. The huge backlog of cases is attributable to this cause. Reportedly, we need to add thousands more. "If the trend of judges judging fellow judge and pronouncing judgments and punishments against each other continues, the requirement will further increase, say some people." While there has been a negative growth in employment opportunities in the government sector for the last many years, judiciary is now emerging as an exception and becoming a potential employer. The disturbing factor is the existence of law-breaking law-makers, and lawmakers and advocates with fake degrees, as has been reported in a section of the media. If there is a lawmaker demanding a facility unavailable in an aircraft and thrashing the staff 25 times with chappal for failing to provide it; there is another lawmaker-lawyer whose degree certificate has been declared fake by the concerned university! The great challenge and the only solution to the problem lies in finding the right person for every job. Lawmakers are chosen by the electorate, and therefore, they alone can control the destiny. Layers again are chosen by the litigants. But, judges are an exception and the litigants cannot choose judge. On 19 May 2017 at 18:49, SHANKAR SARAN wrote: > more

We all know about turtles, that they have a very very strong protective shell on their bodies. To attack the Turtle, one has to break open the shell (Protection) The Shell in the Cases of the Supreme Court Judges and the High Court Judges, are the 2 Acts that have been passed by the Government of India, The Judges Protection Act and the Judges Inquiry Act. Once these are repelled then they will also stand in the same line like you and me in the presence of the Courts. As long as the Shell exists they will enjoy unhindered POWER to do as they WISH...............:(- more
