I have sold goods worth 2.3 lacs to a buyer from Rajasthan who came in contact through Indiamart. Now he is on the run and local police has also said no to filing an FIR. I am in Raipur (Chhattisgarh). What actions can I take? more

1.You can initiate your complaint to local police station of your area. 2. Considering that you will face the same problem again, you can have complaint to E.Cell Over and above you can also file Private complaint in the Local Court Uder section 154 /156 (3) requesting the directions /Order for Investigation. Over and above if all these exercise fail, you can approach to the HC by way of Write. more

Unfortunately, this is the fate prevalent in this country today, worse than British rule. No fear of any stringent / befitting punishment to the culprits for many crimes. People get encouraged to doing more n more crimes. Need lots of reforms in every walk of life urgently, which can happen only with Electoral Reforms to start with. Unless people turn more responsible citizens soon, no improvements can be seen. more

Police may take money to help u. Courts will help u in next 5-10 years. Till then pay advocates. Court may order your buyer to pay but if he does not, then u have to follow recovery proceedings. End of 15 years, you will not get money. Filing a court case only gives you a satisfaction that you tried. You get nothing, except heart attack, bad health, loss of time & money. more

Dear Sir, Register Zero FIR where ever you are at present at which ever police station you can, Stii if FIR not registerd write to SSP of District Telling him everything in Detail in "INLAND LETTER" where you finalised the deal . STILL if he fails to get register than move to court and it will registered by the ordee of Court under sectipn 156/3 Cr.P.C. Take action immediatly, After writting to SSP wait for a weak and proceed for court immediatly. Rohitash more
