I agree with Ms. Rashmi Lulla that many PSUs, PSBs & others are totally shutting off and neglecting the public and consumers/customers. Yet another strange phenomenon is that these institutions shut out the customers by not allowing them to contact concerned offices and seniors by phone or email. It should be made mandatory that all Websites of Financial Institutions, like PSB, LIC, General Insurance Co. Govt. Depts./Organizations, and others should give details of their hierarchy, their names, phone nos. and email ids for the public and customers to reach them. Otherwise, digital India would remain in papers as far are communications are concerned. It is a wonder that one can reach PMO and several ministries by email, but not these institutions! Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Finance Ministry, RBI, etc. should issue clear guidelines and ensure compliance.

Not only these even private sector companies don't allow access to their seniors on call. They flatly say no to customer who ask for their senior. more

My personal opinion is that all public & private sector are equally bad. In case of public sector, if you approach personally, most problems are solved. In private sector, their employees themselves do not know how to solve, as they have no powers or knowledge. more

Dear Mr. Raj ..as an Indian citizen I would just like to say.......Singapore population (at the most 6 million) is peanuts as compared to India (1.3 billion plus). In other words I am trying to imply with such challenges as poverty, health, education etc. in India, managing that with a population is going that kind of challenges ....corruption can never be eradicated in India ...lets face the fact ....anything and everything starts and ends with us ....the Indian citizens .....if we feel our PM various programs like Make in India and Digital India is going to get us the result (forget the corruption etc.) they we are going to move ahead. I am sure Singapore does not have that kind of demographics and those kind dynamics. In fact their government would be under tremendous challenge in case they are to manage a country like India with the same situation. more

The SC verdict recently that the Govt. officials including the Banks and PSU etc are accountable and responsible to their acts and =activities (even after retirements ) which thy had carried out during their working tenure. The convictions of Three Sr. Bureaucrats to the effect is significant . Now the General Public has to take up the issue to lodge more and more complaints and fight it, is eminent. more
