Why tickets are not issued and processed out when paymnet is debitted from bank account while making an eticket purchase on IRCTC.

I have many a time while issueing tickets for my traveling in LONG DISTANCE Indian railway experienced that all the process uptill making the payment is done perfectly and once the payment is debitted from my bank account there shows some or the other sourt of failure notice popup. While selecting to travel in 3AC for long routes with my family (for which the amount is usualy 5000 to 6000 and above for alltogether number of person travelling,) the amount is blocked of ours in the IRCTC bank account for 5 to 6 working days, uptill its process out for refund.
Recently just a day before yesterday it happend with me once again, same as said above for RAC tickets, it happend twice for the same train, same date selected, and both the times the transaction failure poped out after the amount deducting from the Bank acnt. Now as i was falling short of money that day was not even able to book either way of tickets, atleast could have booked the return tickets which were confirm available, if had funds in my acnt.

Here would like to bring to notice to IRCTC and all fellow members here, why does IRCTC workout on this issue.
Public se aise hi 120 din pehle booking lete hain and oospar bhi atleast 5/6 dino ke liye aise karke public ka paisa free main use karte hain.
If the higher authourities of IRCTC are reading this, would kindly request please look into the matter and bring a solution to this matter.

Thanks & Regards.

This is an important issue and needs consideration. It seems effective internet facility between banks and IRCTC is desirable. more
Avoid making payment through nationalized bank sites, as their servers are mostly slow due to overloading and the transactions are usually timed out before materializing. As far as money deducted from account is concerned, IRCTC is prompt in refunding back payments for failed transactions. more
You can register with E-Wallet of IRCTC, before booking tkt please ensure that adquate amount is transffered to e-Wallet. Advantage is, there will be no internet connection hassels from IRCTC website and Bank website. Money can be transffered from IRCTC e-Wallet for purchasing Tkt. more
n most of the 'failed transactions' the money is normally refunded to the account from which it was collected. But once I faced this problem when money was debited but ticket was not issued. In case you have received 'Transaction No' then it could be tracked, but even that was not given when 'error' message appeared. IRCTC must establish few toll-free phone lines for quick redressal of such problems. more
The problem can lie with both irctc and also the payment gateway since both servers get timed out due to overload. The problem is not only the money getting blocked but also loosing out on the efforts and chances of getting a confirmed reservation due to vital time loss in the bargain.Railways need to streamline and condense the elaborate online booking process and attached bottlenecks.Railways can consider institution of some sort of a Railway wallet from where the money should get deducted automatically.Alternately the ticket cost can be collected by the Railways from respective bank later as is done for all other credit card payments for shopping etc. Filling of reservation forms in advance should also be enabled for minimum time online. How is that the railway booking counters are able to block your ticket for some time and the same is not available on online booking. more
The same happened to me 3times at the same time same day and for the same train.I am worried when my debited amount will be refunded. more
