Rightly commented by Prasanta. More than repairing will the Government come out with a plan to fix responsibility for the repaired roads to stay that way for an agreed/logical period of time. All roads get repaired and then within one month potholes again start appearing and after one rain it gets reduced to a village road. Will Government stop wasting tax payers money like this? will the new government make more smart use of public money and do things which are permanent in nature. more

we dont find any inspection being done. thekedar banake chala jata hai. the rest is for the common man to face. more

I am sure there must be some standards for road construction and maintenance. Whether those standard are being followed or not is the question. Such information can always be obtained through Right to Information Act. An important point is who conducts the inspection of the roads ie whether it is some independent authority or not. more

i was in mohali for over a decade. the roads are beautiful there (as good as Chandigarh). they are wide and now double (one way). whenever there is a patch of damaged road or pot hole, it gets repaired within 2-3 days. kudos to officials and authorities there. why cant Faridabad officials follow this example ? kaam karne ki neeyat honi chahiye. more
