You can follow the following practices: Asana: Pawanmuktasana part 1, ananda madirasana, siddhasana, all relaxation poses. Pranayama: Nadi shodhana stages 1 and 2, sheetali, seetkari, ujjayi, bhramari. Some Yoga poses are good for BP. But pranayamas are more beneficial and may give immediate benefit. Try Anulom-Bilom, Kapal bhati, bhramaree (humming), omkar and finally savasana. You will feel the difference. more

The list of asanas which have been found effective during research for hypertension are asana in which you stretch your chest, eg,bhujangasana series, but i would suggest that there is 40 mins special yoga tech which is developed by SVYSA bangalore, you can order there DVD and do it at your home. SVYASA is or swami vivekanand yoga anusandhan sansthan is the doing research in yoga since last 30-40 years and have published many research papers. more
