A new trend has been started by Railways to deliberately give wrong report about arrival / departure timing.Just to improve their stastistics on delays , railways now resort to shamelessly record wrong timings and report arrival while the train actually reaches at times after 30/40 mts. Obviously this has been started with instruction from very high levels. They should be ashamed of fudging the data. more

I guess the honorable Minister should address this on priority if general janata should have faith in all the good intent that is being conveyed. If Railways cannot get this elementary thing right how can anyone trust them with ambitious plans ? (Let alone the safety aspects !) more
We are getting wrong information in online about arrival time. more
WRONG TIME ANNOUNCEMENT IS COMMON THESE DAYS. RAILWAYS CAN PUT A END TO THIS BY THE WAY OF RECRUITMENT OF MORE STAFF OR ALLOTTING PARTICULAR PERSON TO DO ONLY ANNOUNCEMENTS ETC - SUDHAKAR more
Yes. That's true. I had a train Shivnath Express, at 11:30pm, on 22 Jan starting point Nagpur and was reported right time. When in the cold all passengers reached station, at 11:35pm, declared that the train is 1 hr late. Everyone was angry and helpless. Repeating quite frequently. more
I reproduce my complaint to Railway Minister on 25th Jan 17 for which I have not received the acknowledgement till now. I wish to draw your kind attention on the unreliable information provided by Railway on internet and at Railway Station. 12855 of 24th January 17 was not updated for 1 hour. Online information indicates that train has not reached Kamptee but it was arrived at Nagpur. Online information at 0649 for 18240 on 25th Jan 17 shows that Bilaspur is 7 km away but it reached Bilaspur at 0740. To say to run a distance of 7 km it took about 50 minutes with normal speed. I could not understand how we rely on online information provided by railway. The information displayed at station was never reliable. I have reservation in 18239 of 25th Jan 17 PNR 6360846076. On entering the coach it is found that the berth is in broken condition and if I have to sleep on such berth I will be awarded back pain by the Railway. In other words if one has to travel by the rail he has to bear such things even after paying the full fare. more
