On the status of Notification for issuance of interest on inoperative PF Accounts (though as per the amended PF ACT, no such inoperative accounts exists), i had written to the following Government Officials:
1. Prime Minster's Office
2. Finance Minister's office
3. Ministry of Labor and HR
4. PF commissioner's Office
No one has responded and it was quite surprising. One side, we are talking about DIGITAL INDIA and on the other side, not even responses coming for serious communication.
The pathetic situation is no one in EPFO office has any information about this and even PF commissioner, who is completely accountable to clarify this as well kept quiet.
The call logged in help desk for inoperative accounts is as well not responded for 5 days. Where do we go?

Really very pathetic situation....... Did you write to PMO at http://pgportal.gov.in/ ? I wrote my PF related grievance at this portal and it was resolved. Hope this helps you too. more

The volume and complexity of EPF is enormous. But it affects millions of people. Therefore best option for the government is to outsource the operations and streamline it using private agencies as done in the case of Passport Service. TCS has done an outstanding job with Passport Service. It is especially commendable - if you know - many passport service outsourcing had failed in UK and other countries with major IT companies few years ago. But this is more sensitive as it involves money. more

No one is ready to take pains without personal interest. Let the public go to hell. Just grease their palm and get the work done as there is no use of writing to any Ministry including PM as everyone get a bite. They don't even have time to look into your grievances and if responded it would be by any of the ministry staff, who will in turn support the department. more

Hi, In case if you are not get the reply for your letter or mail you can brought it to the notice of PF lok adalat. this will definitely respond within specified period from pf dept., but your request is genuine one. Thanks GK more
