Since Curcumin is an inherent part/structure of haldi then why extract it from it through a process? Does that not reduce the efficacy by tampering with its structure? Why should not haldi be consumed in a larger quantity, if need be, to benefit the effects of curcumin? I notice that this capsule form of curcumin being sold is by the western countries! This is like having multi vitamins tablets rather than have healthier natural form of food intake. more

I read in an article that drinking a glass of hot/warm water with half a spoon of 'haldi' on empty stomach in the morning is extremely beneficial and prevents a host of problems which occur during season change besides being a good anti-oxident and having other properties discussed by Suresh ji. more
