I seek your help to resolve an employment fraud case happened almost 8 months back .
The victim of the case is my son an engineering graduate pass out was recruited by a Kolkata based IT company having an office in Maharashtra Thane- wagle industrial area.
The company insisted on payment of RS 25000/- towards security deposit by way of demand draft .
On making the payment the offer letter was issued along with a joining date.
The company is registered and had all its credentials in place.
On going to the work place on joining date it was found that the company has reported losses on account of no business and had winded up all their operations and had disappeared.
Lot of similar victims along with police and TV channel reporters were present at the site and were engaged in doing recordings.
My son was assured of an FIR being filed against the absconding company and they shall get regular updates on the progress in tracking the absconding company and recovering money .
Till date nothing has been heard.
The amount collected from the employment seekers runs in some crores and there is no sight on any activity taking place in recovery of the money.
The Thane - Wagle Industrial Estate office of the absconding company has been sealed.
Now my query is can the govt intervene and give some relief to the unemployed youth who have lost the money.
Which Government agency to be approached.
There are several initiatives by Govt in which different kinds of sufferers like accident victims, Travel Fraud victims , farmers, natural calamity sufferers are given an aid, similarly is their any such forum where this can be presented and justice received.
The premise is Govt collects several documents, verifies them collects fees and only then issues the company registration. Thus the companies gain a recognition in public and stake holders that they are a recognized company holding a valid registration number etc., thus they change the perspectives of public and stake holders .
Please advice and help.

Advisable to file your FIR for cheating, fraud, breach of trust etc. This will attract the MPID also - either at Thane or even at KolKata where the demand was made and paid subsequently. Advisable also to make a group of victims (Whatever possible) so to reduce the burden of time efforts and money. Being a resident of Wagle Estate -Thane, I can assist and help in the matter. more

Very very Unfortunate Mr.Ghore. On one hand the Government makes big claims of employment and creating jobs and on other hand proper verification is not done of fly by night operators. While Government sees Vijay Mallya & Subrata Roy as villains and using the Legal machinery is haunding them...on other hand many such smooth operators who commit fraud and escape...could very well have done it with collusion of some or other Government official and also perhaps the law enforcement agencies. Media would only be interested in Masala News and you cannot trust them. Use the Social Media....Name them ( Officials ) and Shame them....if you remitted the money in draft, the trace would be easy to follow...the voters Id of the Directors and their Aadhar number can easily lead legal machinery to their door. Don't give up the fight. For good measure write in PMO Grievance on the home page of the PM's website...it would be forwarded to appropriate authorities by the PMO Office. more
