I have been contacting my past organization (Reliance communications) to provide my PF as they have a trust with them for PF however they never respond back. They do mentioned that I have dues pending but they were never able to prove it as I have signed copies of my relieving & hence they & there representative always fall back when I showed them, but still don't transfer my PF. Is there any way I can get my PF money from there Trust back ? more

Mr Saini, here is some more information to help you recover your money. As per the PF Rules the Trustees cannot withhold PF dues (even for any recovery). In case they are not releasing your PF, you can take up the matter with the PF Dept. of their region who has granted them exemption. You can also approach the PF Commissioner for your PF money. Besides this, you can also approach the Income Tax Commissioner who has granted Recognition to the Reliance Communications PF Trust. They cannot withhold the transfer of your PF money to your new account too. So the course of action for you should be to please write to them officially, marking a copy to the PF Commissioner and Income Tax Commissioner, who have granted exemption and recognition respectively. Basis this action of yours Reliance Communications will have to take action as there will be a threat of withdrawal of exemption and de-recognition from the respective authorities. more

Reliance (Anil Ambani group) very difficult people specially if you have to get money out from them. They tried all the tricks to prevent me from withdrawing the money with one of their mutual funds which was doing badly. Waited for a few months and their attitude changed the moment I lodged a complaint with SEBI, so in case you can approach the regulator of PF trusts then they will fall in line. I am sorry as I cannot tell you that right now but will find out for you. Based on this experience I withdrew money from all their Mutual Fund schemes (one of them is a very good scheme) and as a matter of principle do not deal with any of their companies (insurance etc) .
