Shri Durga Prasad Ji. Thanks for correction. Such cases are very rare and exemplary action should be taken against manufacturer. It can be done for all ayurvedic, unani and allopathic medicines where sustained release is not written on packing of tablets. more

Umesh ji, if I may bring to your notice, it is not the breaking of the tablet that is shown above, but the embedded pin which has gone into the tablet. Just to highlight how much damage it It could have caused to the unsuspecting patient. more

It may be useful for ayurvedic and unani medicines but not for allopathic medicines as few of them are slow release/sustained release and breaking them before use will cancel their slow release/sustained release properties. Please do not take allopathic medicines with cold or hot water, unlike warm or hot water suggested in ayurvedic, unani or homeopathic medicines. While most of ayurvedic or unani or homeopathic medicines are better to take in empty stomach, the allopathic medicines depending upon the diseases and their chemical contents are advised in empty stomach or in morning or along with food or after food or before sleep. more
