I am looking for some electricity bills from the consumers in Haryana specially of DHBVN whose consumption of electricity has been more than 500 units per month during any period between April 2015 to September 2015. A scanned copy of the bill may be emailed at skvirmani@gmail.com
It is for the information of all consumers that such consumers have been charged in excess and as per order, the excess amount was to be refunded to all such consumers in subsequent bills from October 2015 onwards. In my view most of the consumers may not have been aware of such amount to be refunded/adjusted in their subsequent bills. On receiving the bills, I will be able to convey to the consumers as to how much appox. amount they are entitled for refund.This is required in order to contest a case against DHBVN as the DHBVN has been misleading the consumers that the excess amount charged in the bills during April 2015 to September 2015 have been adjusted. After lot of follow up with the DHBVN and finally filing a petition before Electricity Ombudsman, the company has now confirmed that an amount of appox Rs. 1,822/- is due to be refunded to me just out of one bill. My next date of hearing before Electricity Ombudsman is 16th August 2016. more

I have discussion with the concerned officials. While I have already been confirmed in writing that excess amount charged by DHBVN prior to Oct. 2015 in my bills is being adjusted in the subsequent bill that is likely to be received any day from now, the adjustment/refund shall be given to all other affected consumers in the next bill depending upon the cycle of issue as they have incorporated necessary corrections. more

@Smita Jana madam, I have seen your bills and find that there is an amount of appox. Rs. 1400/- which need to be refunded out of bill dtd. 13/08/2015 due on 31/08/2015. There is likely to be increase in the bill amount in bill dt 11/05/2015 due on 25/05/2015. It may be around Rs. 100/- or so. In my view the excess payment is likely to be somewhere around Rs. 1,300/- which would have been adjusted in the subsequent bills. There is no adjustment shown in the bill of Nov 2015. Pls check other bills and if not refunded so far pls put up your complaint to SDO in writing. more
