MCF should organize and give a call for "SWACHCHTAA SAPTAH" in sectors of Faridabad, in close co-ordination with all industries, residents, RWAs and market men to clean-up area in front of their premises, including leveling of ground. Open area and roads to be cleaned by MCF. Secondly, MCF will have to adopt licencing policy for hawkers, rehriwalas, who make the city absolutely, haphazard and bad looking. Similarly, issuing licence and formulating rules for three wheeler are also necessary.
Frankly, there seems no effect of Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan, which is totally ineffective. more
True, Faridabad has no swachatta, there are piles of garbage at various places, polythene abounds laying strewn all over, stray dogs and cows are abundant................ more
I agree with you. Removing malba should be the part of contract. Not only this, even maintenance of road for 3-5 years should also be contractor's responsibility. Only then, good roads can be expected? more
Swachh Bharat it is mere slogan people habbit can,t changed so early , good Idea but it will take lot of time, there are shortage of bins every where in Fbd. more
an example of how they are adding to the problem is these days everywhere they are making concrete roads in place of old bitumen roads. they are being made in a totally careless manner, without thinking of its impact. they are just uprooting the old road, dumping the malba on both sides of the road and then make concrete road and go away. no body cares to remove the malba of the old road. they dont even connect the old and new road which creates a huge level gap. a brief 10-15 minutes rain makes it a talaab because there is no provision of water drainage. there is no provision of footpath for pedestrians. design of new concrete roads can lead to accidents as their level is higher than normal ground. removing malba by contractor must be a part of his contract. both side rain water channels should be connected with underground lines. footpaths with interlocking tiles should be made. more
