To keep India and Railway platforms clean are the two sides of the same coin. It's a good initiative from Mr Daniel to ask for suggestions to achieve this feat but what i would like to know whether is it simply a mental / pass time exercise of members or is reaching to those who are supposed to implement suggestions e.g., the honorable Railway Minister or other railway authorities!
Would be happy to give my opinion, after i receive a comment on this question of mine.
Best of Luck and regards. more

Mr.Ashok kumar , that was a good question ; we do give our input with the hope that things will change as the railways were blindly following thease 163 years . Thes year and half I have seen some changes in the compartment toilets , garbage clearance from compartments ,attendant being polite [unlike earlier times they were behaving like I.A.S officers !] , clean linnen being provide and so on. Indian Railways started during British era in 1853 was functioning in the British Bbu style withh all perks for the british and the Indian was only expected to follow. Today this style seems to be changing after the special Make railways better. Hope the passengers will get their due some sooner than later. It is we who have to keep the momentum up as the railwaays is used by 8.3 billion passenegrs every year in 7,000 and odd railway stations. It is in our hands now. Jai Hind . more
Inside the train the foods are not so good quality according to the price. The prices are as per star hotel but the food is as dhaba. Please provide the good food in standard price. more
Everybody saying keep the platform clean, I am agree with this view, but there are many staff is there to clean the Platform. But Nobody is there to Clean inside the train. My request to the passengers of the train to keep the train clean inside. because we are sitting there for many hours for our journey. If we keep the train inside clean then we will get clean environment and we will also kept clean for others after we finish our journey. Another big problem in India, all the facilitated items are destored. Requesting to all the users to keep the proper care of the railway property, indirectly they are our property. My suggestion to railway Please provide the bigger size dustbin inside the train. it will surely keep the train clean and vacant the dustbin on every stoppage. more
To keep platform and track clean,we ought to have garbage bin at a certain calculated distance per dust bin at all platforms and littering should be punishable offence.Bins should be there in couches as well so as to throw litter or food packets or waste should be thrown only into dustbins with colour coding like recyclable etc. more
