Over and above this, request the respective state governments to eliminate the tedious procedures, which the citizen has to follow, of registering the startups in various departments.

1) Professional Tax Registration with Municipal Corporation
2) Obtaining Shops and Establishment licence
3) Registration with CST/VAT - Commercial Tax Department.

Suggest, there should be a single government body, which will register the firm. This single body will forward and get the registrations done from various departments. The citizen has only to make lumpsum payment to this single body and wait for 15-20 days approx to finish off the formalities and start the functioning of the firm.

This will avoid unnecessary hassles for the citizen, who is interested in becoming an entrepreneur and also eliminate corruption in each department. more

Yes, Single window registration is one of the best solution. Otherwise Govt. staff keep comming to our offices and give notices telling that you need to do this and that registration, otherwise there will be penalty, etc. The time and energy of entreprenuer is mostly wasted in running after these registration rather than concentrating on the company and its products and services. Multiple registrations also allows chances of curruptions by Govt. emplyees and officers, as they see this an opportunity to Squeeze entreprenuers. more

Yes that's very true. Single window service under one roof is always good for start ups. This will reduce unnecessary hassles and encourage a healthy business environment. more
