Entrepreneurs with burning desire require list of Bhide and those entrepreneurs similar to Dhiru Bai Ambani will start on their own They will not ask for free Rs5000 or Rs 25000 to support, so that some gentlemen with engineering degree will get ideas to become entrepreneurs by sipping beer or by smoking in toilet. more

What a funny situation in India where the present government like all past one except Ms. Indira Gandhi's government all are lean to their Mentor's hand to move or some outer supports. At present the situation is worst where every one is SMART!!! because o smart mobile phone the young generation have lost real ingenuity by dint of teaching and offering is a trade. I have known start ups who have given research projects to IITs and made a practice of overcoming design issues with these institutions. More and more professional colleges and institutions should develop such domain expertise. One person developed medical devices, even intrusive devices in consultation with hospital. He himself is an engineer. These kind of activities need special international certification. He was in the process. These devices have demand in Europe. more

Entrepreneurs of Startups have enough "Self Motivation" to take them forward. What we need is an environment that is "free" from ridiculous amount of red tape and babu's that constantly demand bribes to have all the business licenses and applications approved. Let the govt focus on creating a level, corruption free playing field. That would be the best "motherly treatment" we can get from the govt. Most of the serious startups that I know actually resist taking govt subsidies as it comes with too much babu-led interference into the company. The majority of the startups that get the govt subsidies are fraudulent as to get the subsidy they most likely would have had to pay bribes making the financial viability of their venture shaky. Obviously I am sure that they could be genuine startups also receiving govt subsidies but those might be a very small fraction. more
