My pulse rate at rest is 64 bps. We've always been told that 72 bps is the normal. What are the implications of this ? Is there any cause for concern ? more

Pulse rate is ok and should not be a cause of concern, if there is no other discomfort. However you monitor your blood pressure for few days on rising up in the morning and as and when there some discomfort e.g. eyes and head heavy or run down conditions. In fact the people who have marginally low pressure like yours without any discomfort have better health and longevity. You have not indicated your age, height and weight. If these are normal (Body mass index) and no discomfort, you can also avoid monitoring your B.P. more
