Corruption in Education & Medical Departments
Education and Medical professions are considered to be very essential services. Here, care should be taken by the stake holders to ensure quality at affordable costs. But, what is going on in these areas are very Painful to the people/students. Famous Tamil Poet Valluvar defined Business in his Thirukkural. There also he advocated Good ethics. He did not classify these two services as "business". But they are also made as business and public are looted. The Govt. and regulatory authorities should consider the untold sufferings being faced by the families due to exorbitant fees/charges and ensure that quality services are rendered by these institutions at affordable cost. more

In order to create Brand India Image in education system which compete with International Brand, Education is required to Nationalised with 100% autonomy with common curriculum, common benchmark of standard throughout India, with special Tutorials and free training centres for weaker section of society. No reservations only competition. Funding by state and centre both equally, Global Hub of Education as it was in past like Taxchila and Nalanda. more

Reduce the areas where permission is required from state depptts . Where it is necessary, give a checklist of documents to be submitted on the website. Permit applications only online . All objections to be recorded on site or by email. Appeals to be made to a committee where undoubted integrity should be one of the criteria s for appointmebt of members. I know of a doctor based in us who wanted to get permission to do her residency. Her old father ,also a doctor was made to run to and fro all the way from another city for petty reasons. Finally the doctor had to come down and when she contacted other doctors who had got the permission she was told pay up or they will make you run. Sad and tragic more
