The list of recommendations is quite comprehensive. Plastic has become a serious menace. It is affecting aquatic life also in a serious manner. Government should ideally concentrate on plastic waste generation. Those manufacturers who use plastic for packaging or any other purpose for temporary use should be made collect the plastic waste through the same chain through which they sell their products. Those manufacturers should be made to use or dispose off the palstic waste in ecologically safe manner. Unless this is done usage plasitc will increase exponentially. more
