Even though the TRAI Act is to come out with regulations keeping in view to protect the interest of the consumers, the regulations on value added service and its auto renewal is anti-consumer. Mistakes and careless could be possible but if reminded about the gaps still remaining ignorant is somewhat dubious. The sector has almost 140 crores consumers and is still without Ombudsman is pointing to something unethical/ scams

It has failed miserably in addressing the issues of unsolicited commercial communication, activation of value added services without consent of the subscribers. While on the one side it has failed miserably, on the other side it even does not respond to logical advise. It even could not address the need of Telecom Ombudsman for the best reasons known to TRAI.
