I recently travelled in this train along with my wife, who needed wheel-chair assistance. The train starts from a platform which is not designed for such a nicety.
An EC class coach, in which we were travelled, can not compare in comfort, quality or aesthetics with even a Second class coach of (say) a European train. Using the toilet, which is shaking all the time when train is moving, is difficult for older people.
The service was generally good. In spite of the cleaner making frequent rounds, the toilet remained shabby because of its design and materials used.
The food was OK. The bearers were neat and clean. Not all food items included were of standard brands. Even a small item like catchup in sachet was not good.
