12016 Ajmer -New Delhi Shatabdi Express

I traveled from Jaipur to Delhi on 6th Sep.'2015. From outside, the coaches appeared attractive with wide windows. From inside, increased legroom was a definite plus point. However the workmanship of the coach manufacture was simply "distasteful". There were uneven edges in sheet metal fabrication almost everywhere and the rubber gaskets around windows were fitted in downright ugly manner. Overall interiors looked like having been done by a roadside vendor. It was shocking. Dinner preparation was HORRIBLE, there was perhaps not even 5-10 grams of paneer in the paneer dish. Instead of  much better than past, dinner was much worse, and totally contrary to my expectations, and I felt overcharged. And to top it all the usual practice of catering staff soliciting tips/gratuities from passengers at the end of journey seems almost a compulsion.
