By the time food is served. It comes out of packing. Leaving all the articles simmered in tray. Tissue papers are not provided with soup. Even in summer, only 500 ml bottle is provided. Food articles are same since beginning of the train. I believe the service should replaced with on demand food service.

I had a chance to travel from Chandigarh to New Delhi on 7th April 2016. The catering service is so poor that the least is commented the better it is. The water was served after 35 mnts of departure of train. The soup was served at 2.0 PM and now can imagine the serving of lunch that too half dishes. The complaint book was demaanded which was not provided.

The quality of train coach is good and do is food served to passengers. Its departure time from Chandigarh is 12 noon but it starts mostly after 12:30 so it reaches New Delhi late. Train should stop at Subzi Mandi station many passengers of North,West Delhi wants to alight here. By stopping train here will not only benefit passengers but will also decongest the highly crowded New Delhi station
