I have booked a ticket to travel from Howrah to Bhubaneswar on 14.12.2016 (PNR No. 6459261381) and on reaching the station it is found that the scheduled train is cancelled. No prior intimation was issued by SMS as promised by Railway. I tried to get any other train to Bhubaneswar but the counter person didnot co-operate on the plea that this is the time to re-allocation of seat. I being a senior citizen had to face lots of difficulties in re-scheduling my journey and fortunately my Son stays here at Kolkata and I am saved from other expenses like hotel accommodation.
Will the Railway think on this matter and find alternative arrangements in case of cancelled trains, like alternative travel arrangement or introducing any other train to pick up the stranded passengers.
