16527 Yesvantpur Junction-Kannur Express Train

This train is worth not travelling. There has always been a lethargic approach towards any train to Malabar & this train is one of that. When the train was introduced it took 11 hrs from Bangalore to Vadakara now the time has increased by 1 hr. Hope the distance has not increased. Railways ensure that all disposed bogies are provided for this route. There is no responsibility for any official at least to provide basic facilities that they provide to other zones. 2AC is pathetic. They put the bogies which does not have water, A/c's does not work, if it works temperature cannot be controlled. Seats are like..... do not have words to describe it. Why is railways not taking action against officials who are responsible for such services.

This is not the first time, every travel is horrible hence we have started using road transport because RAILWAYS does not care for their customers but they do for their OFFCIALS & encourage to carry on with this attitude.

PATHETIC RAILWAYS:-(

Earlier the train 16527 YPR-CAN Express was taking around 12 hours, but due to change in time table since July 2014 the train is running almost with one hour extra. The train 16527 can follow the below time table so as to reach Kannur like earlier. Kindly allow the train 16527 to pass before the Island Express (16526) from Salem, which have more stops compared to this train. The train 16526 can follow this train up to Ottapalam, thereafter can stick to the present timings. A 10 minute adjustment at Salem can make a big saving of one hour for 16527 without affecting any other trains.
The suggested time table is below:
YPR 20:00, BAND 20:25, SA 00:20, ED 01:20, TUP 02:05, CBE 03:00, PGT 04:15, SRR 05:00, TIR 05:45, CLT 6:30, BDJ 7:20, TLY 7:45, CAN 8:10.
The advantages are:
1)16527 can reach CLT before the departure of the 56653 CLT-CAN passenger (like earlier). The passengers can also save one hour.
2) This helps to decongest the Kannur platform. As of now all the three platforms are filled by trains like 56653 CLT-CAN passenger, 16527 YPR-CAN Exp, 16860 MAQ-MS Exp, 16605 Eranad Exp followed by 12601 MAQ mail. The 56653 and 16527 blocks two platforms and only one platform available at a time.
3) The 12601 MAQ mail also can be speed up and the overtaking of this train by other weekly trains towards Konkan can be avoided.

I have travelled in all three 2AC/3AC and sleeper
Toilets are terrible with no fans or non functioning fans. The toilet stinks most of the time because of the fan not working, no freshener kept etc. One in ten times we get to see a rat and one in two cockroaches. The coach pest control sheet says pest control done the previous day or so, however all these problems are there.

2AC/3AC - The coaches are all old. Once in a while we get a new one. The bottle holders are usually gone or torn, so are the magazine holders. The sheets and pillows are generally good with an occasional bad one. In 2A the curtain rods are bent or broken. Sometimes the curtains are torn too. The side lower berths in both the types are usually not horizontal and they sag in the middle.

Sleeper : The berths are most of the time dirty. Along with that sometimes they are torn as well. Coaches are ancient.
