The government has shamelessly failed to arrange secured storage facilities for agricultural produces, particularly paddy. With the result lakhs of tons of paddy are stored in open fields and get eaten by rats and rotten due to rain, when crores of Indians are starving. The state government speak very high but miserably fail in most important field due to lack of wills. There is no evidence to suggest that the government is seriously initiating measures towards improvement in yield of agricultural products.
