Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation

I live in Niharika Bungalows near Himatlala park. Initially the garbage collection van was very regular but lately they have started picking up garbage once a week , many times once in two weeks. There does not seem to be any monitoring done.

I am satisfied with the garbage collection work, however i have never noticed any AMC supervisor/Inspector monitoring the job.
Hawkers and Pan shops owners need to be strictly ordered/monitored to maintain cleanliness standards

My office is in Prime Bodakdev area. It is in Platinum Plaza, Nr. Judges' bungalow. But the adjoining complex -Shakti enclave and Platinum Plaza complex both keep their garbage outside for collection, which is most of the time spreading on the road and a big nuisance near parking areas as well as for people going to the HDFC bank.
I want the civic authorities to please take notice of it and make proper amends.

I am Subodh Trivedi at present I am staying at 8,Shivalik Bunglows Near Anand Nagar Cross Road, Satelite,Ahmedabad-380015,
my residence falls in Jodhpur Ward New West Zone of AMC.In our area earlier it was under Jodhpur Nagarpalika,now it is under AMC.The daily street cleaning is done.We have system of collecting Daily Garbage from our 79 Bunglows ,collect in Big Drum & the same are taken away by AMC on daily basis.The unfortunate is this all collected garage is dumped outskirt of Ahmedabad city but coud not be disposed of there after. The agencies to whom AMC awarded contract to dispose off are failed totally .AMC initiated action against them. I suggest to have AMC such big plant to dispose off,as a agency can not afford to have such big capacity of Disposing Solid Waste,The input is from Ahmedabad City is 5oo Tonnes per day where as dipose capacity a few Tonnes per day resulting Big Dump which is dangerous to public health.At present I am in USA & I have seen the dispose of Solid Watse at 10 Tonees /Hour,if we have two such plant it can solve the problem forever of AMC. This plant is working on Eddy-current principle & sagregate all types of material like,plastic,steels,cements,papers,steel etc. & it has attachment of other machinery after segregating each material to process further.
I daw attention of CIVIC Authorities on this issue.

I am a resident of Gandhinagar. I stay in sector-8. I must say that the garbage collection system of municipal corporation is very good. Till now I have observed that the staff taking care of our area is also very co-oprativ and pactual.
