@Vijay: I appreciate your appeal. Also, in the middle of a road path-hole are simply accident porn can lead to hell anyone.

I am resident of Ahmedabad for the last 34 years. Sorry, I am disappointed totally with civic work of the AMC. Swachh Abhiyan is yet to smile on the City streets and roads of Ahmedabad. Roads are in bad shape. Digging is everywhere. Crores of rupees have been spent for laying block-pavements on the roadsides for the pedestrian, but, hardly any block pavement can be seen now. Hawkers are thriving on the pavement meant for the pedestrains. No monitoring, supervision and quality check of the work carried out by the contractors by the city fathers. It is heyday for the contractors to make huge bucks. In many places manholes are either open or damaged. It is poorly made. I have seen in some places where manhole constructed by laying bricks without applying proper ratio of cement. All this, plus more, do not deserve AMC to be rated high, as of now.
