1) They made bunch of channels and we are being forced to accept all unnecessary channel, which languages are not understand to me. 2) Airtel is deducting more money (as fines) for late recharging, if payment done after one or more days. 3) After monthly recharge, the Airtel web page showing 30 days (some time 31 days also) validity, but actually they are blocking broadcast before two or more days. These all needs to be controlled and clear instruction to be published.
TRAI's rules & regulations are only to provide benefits to Service Providers. When Dish Antennae had been introduced a promise was made that mere charges will not go up but quality shall also be matter; but the prices went up five six times. What we pay for the services is not commensurate with the services we get . In fact the service providers are showing us unwanted channels e.g. regional language channels which are not required or intended so far to the different regions. What is the use of South Indian language channels to central region viewers or North east language or Northern language channels to South India region.Unless it is asked by the particular user. The bunch of channels they provide nearer to one hundred or more to; the contrary very few channels are useful or we view. As it had been asked by the service provider to select the required channels and pay accordingly. But after selection too, the service provider is continue to charge according to their wish and giving the channels which had not been selected by us. TRAI should again review the rate policy or charging policy. Instead of favoring to the service providers only TRAI should look after both the interests so as to make balance between customers choices & privilege,as well as the service providers reasonable tariffs. Govt should intervene in this matter since it is in the greater interest of general public being a day to day basic need and not to treat as luxury.
