In the past over two years my internet plan has, in my opinion very systematically ,been brought by Airtel from 20 GB to 65 GB per month. After every upgrading I seem to get some relief for 2 - 3 months, whereafter I again start getting information around the 20th day that 80% of my capacity has been used. 3 - 5 days later I've used up 100 % of the capacity. Thereafter, the speed is reduced to 526 bytes. Not that the maximum speed provided by Airtel of 2000 bytes is too much, but then one fourth of that speed does hurt become monotonous. One feels like NOT using the internet any more.
In the first month after raising the plan to 65 GB, I had used up 100% of the capacity on the 29th day of the plan, and this month it's back to the old "trick"......I was informed on the 17th day that 80% of the plan was used up and 6 days later the 100% of 65 GB download was over.
I spoke with several engineers of Airtel on 121, one or two did come to check things out, but could not detect the error.
I have actually come to disbelieve Airtel that I am actually consuming 65 GB of downloads within 3 weeks. Mainly I check emails, listen to some songs and short videos on the Youtube, never see bollywood or hollywood films.
And friends who know have re-assured me that updates on the Apps cannot ever consume so much of formidable capacity.
Can someone please advise and help?
