I am a PRE-PAID customer of AIRTEL since many years. In fact more than 13 Years. Also have Landline from Airtel with Broadband connection. However, I find that Airtel charges more to me for mobile calls or SMS's, compared to charges levied on customers who are POST-PAID. Which means that though I pay for my expenses in advance, I am still charged at a higher rate. This is quite objectionable. All these higher charges, even though I have Airtel Landline as well as Broadband.
Secondly, I observe that of late (over last 6 months or so), there is frequent disconnection of Broadband signals. Though this lasts for about 4-5 minutes and signal resumes after this time lapse, but it is disturbing my work.

Mobile services are not bad, but the rates per call go on changing without any reason or information. I also have broadband internet connection through Airtel. The signal gets disrupted quite often and then comes back in 4-5 minutes and suddenly I get information on my screen, "No Internet Connection", then it comes back again after 4-5 minutes. This is very disturbing.

Airtel keep sending messages to opt for higher internet speeds at a marginally higher cost. This is an attractive option, BUT actually, the higher speeds which are claimed do not work, since the systems are unable to take the higher speeds. In fact the Airtel engineers themselves have accepted the fact that these are more SALES GIMMICKS and higher speeds are not possible on the ground due to no improvement in cable conditions. I have experienced this myself and therefore putting this up for people to know.

Post Paid customers get far more benefits than pre-paid customers.... WHY? In fact Pre-paid customers should get more benefits, since they are paying in ADVANCE FOR services.
