Pune station platform cleaning is very worst also the tracks are very shaby with full of toilets letter when the trains leave the platform the tracks are full dirty also the waste bins kept near food stalls are getting overflow and all street dog's and cows are pulling wasted food covers outside the bin.

K.KAMARAJU;My remarks are general in nature and applicable to many important and big stations and also medium stations across India. I observe that in many stations it is very difficult to go from one platform to another as there are no elevators even in big stations. With the increase in senior citizens in the country it is very difficult change one platform to another. You may get an elevator to go up but you are forced to climb or come down on steps. This is a very big task with luggage. Nay you may engage a railway coolie but we cannot catch him as he will be running with luggage and it is very difficult to catch him. We may at times miss him and will be afraid of our luggage as in several stations the authorised coolies are limited in number and unauthorised coolies are more .It is high time we provide elevators in all stations for going up and down and also provide trolly for carrying luggage like
in air ports.

Apart from Clealisness, there are lot of issues with Pune station like parking. Usually you do get proper 4 wheeler parking. The parking guy asks you park on the way and takes keys from you and many time they mishandles the vehicles. This is is really pathetic situation for a big city like pune. Next problem is traffic. The traffic in and outside situation is also very bad. Next problem is expansion of station. There is no scope of expansion of station. From so many years there is only 6 platforms. Look at Ahmedabad station which is well maintained and it has 11-12 platforms.

Pune is next metro city and if we compare Pune with Nagpur or any other big city Pune station is worst in respect to cleanliness also we have only six platform whereas if platform number six stinks a lot. Since most of the politician gets down at platform number one hence the team only concentrate in platform number one. In respect to security also if you its difficult to check all the baggage and the accuracy is also not upto mark.

Pune Station is a classic example to show as the most dirty Station.
There are many ways to keep the Premises clean , but the administration is not bothered .
Even there are many Stations in India it self, which are kept clean. You can travel to Kerala and see the diference.
When we travel Singapore Metro we feel ashamed of the situation of Pune Station.
RAILWAY AUTHORITIES , please do some thing meaningful to keep the Station clean.
