Anand Vihar (ANVR)

AC waiting room is with no attendent. their is no direction arrow. Everyone from Unreserved to Sleeper class travellers are normally sleeping or sitting their.
At Main Road entry gate different type of vendors are sitting with their kiosks...definately with the help of Delhi Police.
Escalators require for Metro connectivity.
Sitting arrangement is required for Waiting the train with display board at common hall.

ANVT is . well maintained but few suggestions:
1. better connectivity with main line anand vihar station. A paved passage has been laid of late but more lighting needed for safety.
2. connectivity with Delhi Metro is OK but difficult to climb for senior citizens with luggage. If feasible kindly plan an escalator here
3. I have not seen any prepaid auto/taxi booth, probably not available.

THE FACILITIES IN PALAKKAD STATION IS JUST LIKE A NORMAL STATION. IT BEING A DIVISIONAL HQ STATION, THE RAILWAYS SHOULD PROVIDE MORE FACILITIES LIKE MORE NUMBER OF SERVICES FROM THIS JUNCTION AND TO THIS JUNCTION, AUTOMATED ELEVATORS, RETIRING ROOMS, ADD MORE LOOP LINES, ADD NUMBER OF SERVICES TOWARDS POLLACHI SIDE (THE NEW LINE), MORE ROOF COVERED PLATFORMS ETC.ETC.
