The Anti Corruption Bureau is appearing to be losing its status and credibility because of their unexplained to be after number of cases. With feed back coming from various sources, it appears that the ACB is laying traps without proper verification of the complaint and the complainant and managing to send charge sheets in the matters which are not fit even for taking up departmental action. This is done for the sake of statistics. On the other hand the enquiries conducted by the ACB are kept hanging for inordinately long spans which reek of oblique motive.. The ACB needs to revamped lest a time would come that we may need an Anti Anti Cooruption Bureau.
