extremely poor. dogs are there all over. no clear policy on dealing with issue. why cannot BBMP grate dog pounds and take care of them. stray dogs are dangerous to children. BBMP's action has been pathetic. similar is cattle which block roads and interfere with traffic. this is an age old unsolved problem. rating is zero
Actually stray dogs are some times boon to human beings,we cannot depend upon police security (needs eloberate explanation with proof) Whether you feed them or not your Street will be fully secured, ofcourse it tries to attack unknown people, runs along with vehicles etc. When vehicle is slowed down it becomes calm slowly, childrens of course fearing an attack try to run along with shouting rages dogs for competition. But stay dogs area wise giving security and doing their duties without any tax. I apologize if it has crossed the limit and caused problem to few people.
Since the picture (that too, not of Bangalore) accompanying the post showed dogs - yes dogs are a menace, especially at night, when they howl their guts out and chase cars and bikes in poorly lit streets. Besides these canines, we have our revered cows, who slow down / block the traffic, spread the garbage which was anyway littered on the roads and drop their dung anywhere. The beauty is that these belong to someone in the neighborhood, since that somebody herds these bovines home in the evening - thank heavens for that - imagine if some cow is laying in the dark street corner and some 2-wheeler rams into it ! And one is not supposed to do anything to these strays, or some gau-rakshak will beat you to death in this country !!
In 13 main, 17 cross J.P.Nagar 5th phase there are about 8 dogs who create lot of nuisance at night by barking and picking up garbage from apartments etc. The population keeps on increasing every year.
In J.P.Nagar 8th phase, B.K.Circle, Pavamana Nagar Area, there are 10 stray dogs per street, around 100+ dogs in this area, which chases the residents during day and night times. really nuisance and many times it is biting the kids. if any actions can be taken it will really help the residents.
