Stray Dogs do not belong to any body. They belong to GOD only. They take birth and die as per his will. It is not possible to manage them easily. Once the population is more, they can be killed only.
In our area ie Promenedae road 1st cross Bangalore-560005 in Frazer town area is dismal towards stray animal management.In Spite of bringing to their notice.

In our area it is nil. Stray dogs are moving freely. They are risky.
The BBMP should think on those lines to stop the waste food thrown into garbage. Instead, similar to Coimbatore Corporation's initiative, Waste Food collectors should be installed at vital points which can feed the needy poor people rather than stray dogs.
More over, the stray dogs' owners are to be penalised for allowing their animals to roam around.

Our Officials in Municipal Corporation are not bothered about the City. They will woke up only after disaster. If they cannot control the nuisance of Stray Dogs what else can they do? Local Ward officers should be made punishable for any stray dog bits to any citizen in their ward and all expenses to be born by them personally. This is the high time that Government / BBMP announce compensation to public for damages caused by any stray animals in the city.
Sterilization looks alright by all means. Nowadays we hardly see puppies on the streets as said by a member. This shows that action in the right direction yields result, and we should be aware of the natural course of time. Probably, we ,the residents are unaware of the genuine facts on cleanliness, ill effects ( intentionally ) created by the residents, by not holding household waste within the campus until collected by civic staff.
