BBMP'S performance is very unsatisfactory. The cleaning of the city is left to the fancies of contractors mostly connected to the Corporators. The paurakarmaikas are nether paid well & nor timely payments made. The blame lies equally on the BBMP who in turn do not make timely payments to the contractors. Any how, we are at the receiving end. Even when the garbage is lifted from our houses we have to be regularly paying for the services, though BBMP collects gabage collection tax from us. Not a happy state of affairs.

Taxi drivers are the culprit for traffic jams because they do not have patience to wait in a lane. I think every signal should have a camera those breaking the rule should b punished or withdraw d licence on d spot. To happen this traffic police should stop taking money.

The policemen want more and more street vendors so that they can fleece the vendors for money every day. When the law makers are the law breakers no one can do anything.

Whole of Bengaluru with street vendors in every nook corner. The problem is that all of us want things at our door step. No doubt it is good but none of us think widely about the future problems. To vacate a Paani poori vendor opposite to my house, I had fight tooth and nail with neighbors to convince them that a hazard for traffic/ health/ littering caused by the vendor. Finally BBMP/police came to my help after long struggle. Many of us wants only the surroundings of houses to clean and not the rest. Attitude of many local residents are very negligent. No one to support for any good cause. Every one is sympathetic at the cost of cleanliness.
How much BBMP can monitor these activities unless we join with them. Again it is corruption and mamuls. We can make the city to come out of these by asking the administration to allow only licensed vendors to sell in the designated places. It can be done once we are honest.
